Tested today on new Carambola + motherboard my USB 3G Vodafone K3565-Z. At least 3 hour works stable.

Hello gedass,
OK so that brings me to the next point, does my Dev board have a defect in this case? Recall I also mentioned that sometimes I get a reboot when plugging in a USB device.
Thanks, Serge

Hi,
I have tried two different brands of 3G modems with same result and more recently I get the same thing happening with a USB Hub which does not even have a modem connected to it.
I will try the Cap and see what happens.
Thanks, Serge

Ok. Try to : 1: 40 pin of Carambola module connect direct GND (ground) 2. Check connectors : J1, J7 and J8 3. Put latest firmware to Carambola from repository: http://pkg.8devices.com/v2.0/carambola/ ... pgrade.binIf issue will assert again we would like to get this board back.We will send another new board to you.

Thanks,
Just to be clear, the image you have provided in your post is the same version I would get when building myself from the git Repo master branch ?
Thanks, Serge

Same problems with your provided firmware.
I have ordered a second devboard + carambola to test, when I receive it I can test and can also send you back the current one I have if the new one works better.
Thanks, Serge

Its strange because for example today the 3G has been up for 6 hours and no bus resets!
Then if I move the case around a little I get a bus reset, there has to be some sort of bad contact or something! I might also try another power source...
