I can not establish a serial connection to the carambola. I use Vterm32 and it lights only the power LED.
Last night I wanted to install a own custom firmware but the process was not carried out successfully.
Is there a chance to "revive" the carambola?

i think that i damaged the bootloader image during install the new firmware by choosing the wrong *.bin file.

I try to connect with putty but the error message says:
Unable to open connection to COM5
Unable to open serial port

PuTTY Configuration is:
Serial line to connect to - COM5
Speed (baud) - 115200
Data bits - 8
Stop bits - 1
Parity - None
Flow control - None

Any idea?

You can rewrite correct bootloader via JTAG or direct to flash chip.

sounds like a good idea but i have no idea how this works
I found the RT3052 config file and the pin layout graphic for the carambola jtag connection.

Simplicity's sake, I have this morning ordered a replacement carambola
