after quite an odyssee to get the carambola board working I thought I give the LED-Matrix demo a try. The output on the LED Matrix is a garbage pattern, that changes every time I call the program (with at least a second between the calls) but does not resembe numbers at all.
It looks like the font data is wrong and I wonder how this can happen - has anyone experianced this as well? I use the SureElectronics 8x32 display with an HT1632 (not HT1632C) chip.

Any help is appreciated as my frustration level with this board has reached the bearable limit and I am about to give up on this hardware

Hi, I guess sureelectronics has different pinout (from controller to LED matrix). You have to compare schematics and change program a bit.

The main feature of this Matric is to resolve all issues of with garbage when it produces.
