i got the following issue:
When I restart the carambola-board (rset or power on) the only thing it
puts on the serial output is:
U-Boot 1.1.3 (Nov 3 2009 - 15:19:34)


Board: Ralink APSoC DRAM: 32 kB

relocate_code Pointer at: 7ffb8000

-- what happened? it isn´t even accepting commands via serial interface...
Has anyone had similar problems?

Your Carambola module hardware is broken (no access to RAM) or wrong bootloader image.

is there any way to reflash the bootloader?

If you can't access bootloader menu, you can reflash only via JTAG or resolder FLASH chip.

I'm a new user of carambola.
After about two weeks of smoothness developing and experimenting on a carambola module (attached on a carambola mother board) , this has suddenly and inexplicably stopped working.

Now, everytime I turn on carambola,
I see on the serial output the same message:

Evidently, the carambola module has broken.
But I can not figure out what might have happened.

Have you any idea that could explain this failure?
Now I'm going to use a new carambola module, but I fear that this fault will happen again.
There is nothing I can do that might guarantee that this damage does not happen again on another carambola module?

Seems like RAM fault.
Or bootloader compiled for wrong memory type.

Surely it is a RAM damage.
I attach a picture of the bottom layer of the carambola module, take a look to the hole on the label of the chip...

The problem is that I can't explain what could be happened.
It is not happened nothing unusual before the failure.
Any idea?
