Hi carambola-team,
first, thanks for the great hardware, works like a charm! Just a simple question: pin21 on the carambola is defined to carry 5V. In the documentation is stated that the cara only requires 3.3V (pin22,23). What is the 5V pin doing? Is there any kind of voltage regulation gereration 3.3V from there, just in case 3.3V isn't available? (just a gues, what it might be for...)
Another question is about the function of pin11 (named 2VD), where the center of the ethernet coils is routed (via some coil). could you describe the function of this pin a bit?
Thanks and best regards, case

Hello,
5V must be attached (21pin) only if you are going to use USB. 2V (pin11) is 2V output from internal LDO for ethernet transceiver.
