Hi guys. Unfortunately, I have also fallen into this same trap with my new Carambola2 module. Is there a way to get the correct *.bin image back onto the module, and get it working again? Again, my module just hangs at the "Starting kernel ..." message, but I can press the "Esc" key to stop autoboot and from there it seems like it may be possible to load a new image (using something like "loady" - but I'd like better instructions on the correct way to proceed).
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, where did you get that link from? Also, do you know how to upload and build the new image (is it the same)? It seems that it is possible ( http://mark.mckillen.com/2014/01/mis-ad ... l-wr741nd/) in U-boot, but I have no idea what a TFTP server is and how to configure it. Will '#git clone https://github.com/8devices/carambola2' get the latest files as well? I've tried '#git tag -l' and it didn't return anything showing the version of the files that were cloned.

Ok. And, how does one go about loading that image from U-boot?

Yea, I tried to follow that page, but I'm not sure what some of the parameters should be set to. Do you have a screenshot of the "DHCP" tab in the TFTP32 program? Then once that is up and running how would I proceed (the menus I have don't match the ones shown here http://8devices.com/wiki_carambola/doku ... grade:tftp). Also the instructions here ( http://mark.mckillen.com/2014/01/mis-ad ... l-wr741nd/) aren't for the carambola explicitly, so what needs to change for the carambola2? A little bit of an explanation would be really helpful. Thanks
