Well, my Cara2 dev board runs perfectly, no pull-up on GPIO17 -> I assume it is in something else... Afaik there was some post claiming it was sufficient to connect just 3V3 and GND to the board.
Anyone from 8devices to clarify that?

Is this really necessary? Doesn't look like the Carambola2 dev board has something like your pull-up. I thought that "Bootstrap L/H" means that the pin is set H/L by the system when booting. |

GPIO17 aka LED6 pin is for ethernet on/off

Now it is clear and the extra pull-up on GPIO17 seems to be redundant since there is one inside the mdoule. Thanks! |
