as some of you might know, I'm doing some research on solar-powered routers. However, one thing which keeps me from progressing is that Carambola2 only has one WiFi antenna.
Are there any plans to upgrade Carambola2 to the AR9341 SoC, which supports 2 antennas?
Thanks Felicitus

2 Antennas for WiFi repeating / routing (Air to Air, not Air to Wire).
Additionally, anything which can do 5 GHz would also be interesting for my project.
We measured a TP-Link TL-WR841ND yesterday, which used the AR9341, and it had an overall consumption of 1.3W (including LED power consumption as well as the switchmode DC-DC losses).
