Carambola2 work fine!
I need Carambola2 with development board communicate with other controller via UART.
Carambola2's UART hooked to terminal. Can I use it to interface to other chip?
How to do it?

Do I understand that i needs to cut T_jump JT1 and JT2 and connect other chip into J13 (contact 3 and 4/UART_RX_C, UART_TX_C)?
In the documentation on http://8devices.com/media/files/Carambola2.pdf described - J12, J13 - 2 x 10 2.54 mm pitch prototyping area holes, but really J12,J13 - 2 x 20 2.4 mm.

FIrst I would try if it is possible to communicate with that chip without cutting jumpers. If not, I think you will have to cut them. Take a look to the schematic of Cara2 development board.

Maybe you could use some soft uart implementation. Isn't it available in the repository?
