Hi everyone,
I bought a Carambola2 a week ago and since the beginning I have a sporadic wifi problem. I am using the "OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r35770 / LuCI Trunk (trunk+svn)" image.
My preferred setup is: Access Point 802.11g+n 40MHz HT WPA2-PSK
The wifi connection works for quite a while until the connection suddenly drops. The access point then disappears from my laptops wifi list.
To fix it I need to powercycle the board or disable/enable the wifi connection.
I tried 20MHz mode, g-only, WPA/WPA2-PSK -> the same problem every time.
Does anyone know about a fix?
Thx Marc

In the meantime I installed OpenWrt r37748, but the problem still exists. I noticed that after a day or two the wifi sometimes starts to work again.
Wifi clients are a Dell Vostro Laptop and a Sony Xperia V phone.
Hopefully this is not a hardware bug on my carambola2...

After having sysupgraded my carambola2 with laest openwrt snapshot, my wifi connection seems to work only if ethernet interface 0 is connected. Even more, the other ethernet interface become pingable if and only if eth0 is linked. It seems that eth0 link enables the other two!
At this time 3 interfaces are configured as follows:
wifi: no firewall zone, no bridging, static ip address eth0: no firewall zone, no bridging, static ip address eth1: no firewall zone, no bridging, dhcp client protocol
Any suggestion?

Hi, seems I have the same problem with wi-fi, turn off. The problem persist in in all my 4 pieces of carambola2.
The only reason I find in logs is:
OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 00:21:00:02:f7:67 IEEE 802.11: disassociated due to inactivity OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 00:21:00:02:f7:67 IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE) OpenWrt daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 3c:43:8e:9d:da:3f IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to local deauth request
Could somebody with more experience explain this situation. Is it posible that this inactivity problem is the case of wi-fi dropdown.
