Hello,
I have configured Carambola 2 as WIFI AP and client together. If the Carambola as client connects a known router, it get a fixed IP address via DHCP, and another PC on the network start socket communication with the Carambola (own app as server on Carambola). Socket connect, short request, short answer, socket disconnect. After 15 hours of operation and 40 MBytes Wifi traffic (ifconfig) I noticed that the hotplug2 process owns 27 MB memory. Oops.
I read something about such a memory leak with hotplug2, but that seems to be fixed long ago.
Now I killed the hotplug2 process without apparent problems. Do I need this process? I do not use any USB device, or LUA config / Web interface.
Do you have an hints?
Mike.
