I am working on boot time optimization for Carambola2. So Want to load Kernel and FileSystem differently

When I do make. I get "openwrt-ar71xx-generic-carambola2-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin" which i used to upgrade. I think it is Kernel + FileSystem combo, correct me if I am wrong.

I also get these file "openwrt-ar71xx-generic-carambola2-kernel.bin", "openwrt-ar71xx-generic-carambola2-rootfs-jffs2.bin"', "openwrt-ar71xx-generic-carambola2-rootfs-squashfs.bin"


Now I want to edit into filesystem in init.d scripts, I want to stop all the init.d scripts. Can anyone help me in doing this.
