Hi,

i tried to configure Carambola 2 as an access point but i produced a broken network configuration and i spend hours but i'm still unable to connect to the carambola 2 board via ethernet. When trying to connect, my networkmanager backgrounds but seems to receive no ip address. Is it possible to factory reset the Carambola 2 board? Guess this is my last chance to get it working again.

the problem is that i can't even connect to Carambola 2 by $ ssh root@192.168.1.1 - how should i run commands on the carambola 2 board?

EDIT: i've read somewhere else that it is possible to access carambola 2 via USB? How does that work? Might that be a chance to get an alternative (not LAN or Wifi) connection to the Carambola 2 Development Board?

Connect to the carambola over USB as you describe, then push the reset button. You will see the boot up process. Once it completes uboot it will load the first stage Linux kernel. There will be a pause with press f for failsafe prompt. Type f hit enter. At the none@carambola2 prompt run "firstboot" and wait for a few minutes the carambola should reboot with everything as it was when you received it.
