Hi all,
first of all my situation: At the moment I'm studying electrical engineering and I'm interested in wireless communication. That's why I want to buy a Carambola 2 module to experiment with the communication between a microcontroller like a pic30F (by UART) and the module.
The module should work in ap-mode and I want to modify the driver to add some functions. Caused on the usage of OpenWRT, the driver should be open source and easy accessable to change, right?
In my point of view, I could add some more functions to the driver and recompile it. Is this correct?
Further I want to know about the behaviour in ap-mode. Is it possible to connect a second Carabola module in Repeater or WDS-Mode? OpenWRT supports WDS, I guess.
Thanks for the answers.
