Hey
I have just received my dev boards and I'm very comfortable with linux but new to openwrt.
How do I know what carambola version is installed ie 2.4,2.5 or 2.6?
Is v 2.6 at a stable, dev or nightly level at the moment?
Thanks in advance
G

It is using repo 2.4. The motd says it's r35770. Uname -a says the kernel is 3.7.9 dated Aug 5.

I'm sorry I've made a mistake. The newly manufactured Carambolas should have v2.5 firmware. Both v2.4 and v2.5 use 3.7.9 linux kernel, so everything is fine in your case. You just received a board from an older batch, but don't worry - the older ones are just as good as the new ones, the only difference is the firmware, which can be updated :)
