Has anyone tried this configuration?
Carambola2 as WLAN client -> Carambola2 as WLAN AP
I can connect normally with a Linux PC to the WLAN AP.... but the Carambola2 acting as a WLAN client gets an IP address as I can see it on the WLAN AP DHCP web page, but it immediately resets to the bootloader and the process starts all over again endlessly...

Ehmm...the Carambola2 development boards are normally powered via the USB connector....plugged into a USB 3.0 port delivering 900mA....
Nothing to do with the power...as the Carambola2 can connect as a WLAN client without problems to a Ubiquity WLAN AP or a Fritzbox...
My previous impressions of this boards gets me to suggest to switch my customer away from Carambola2 towards the Intel Edison board due to the poor customer support and the poor updates from the GIT repository where you have to edit manually package source to be able to build the firmware...
