Hi there!
I’m having some trouble with my USB2CAN device as I can’t seem to get it working using the USB2CAN test application v1.0 and the v1.0.2.1 driver.
The software that I’m using is Windows 7 Pro 32bit in a Parallels VM, and my device is on firmware 1.5 according to the test application.
Here's a screenshot from the VM:
As you can see, I’m able to get the application to connect to the device, (and the device’s light turns green when I do), but I don’t get any messages received when I test it with an Arduino with a CAN bus shield (
http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/CAN-BUS_Shield) set to send a CAN message every 100ms at 500kbps.
I’m fairly confident the problem is not on the Arduino’s end, as I have successfully tested it with another Arduino w/ CAN Bus Shield and they are able to communicate with each other.
If you have any insight as to what I should try next, it would be greatly appreciated! I’m also interested in trying the Linux drivers, but I don’t think they are officially supported?
Thanks in advance!
