Hi I think i have a Carambola-1 on a Dev board. Can it be powered via usb alone? (The power LED on the Carambola glows) I am connecting to it using a serial to usb adapter. http://logilink.eu/Products_LogiLink/Ca ... anguage=en I am connecting to it from Ubuntu Linix via picocom. THis is what i get picocom -b 115200 /dev/ttyUSB0 picocom v1.7 port is : /dev/ttyUSB0 flowcontrol : none baudrate is : 115200 parity is : none databits are : 8 escape is : C-a local echo is : no noinit is : no noreset is : no nolock is : no send_cmd is : sz -vv receive_cmd is : rz -vv imap is : omap is : emap is : crcrlf,delbs, Terminal ready But nothing more... It's a blank thereafter If i connect an ethernet cable from my computer to eth0 or eth1 on the Carambola and type ssh root@192.168.1.1 I get a prompt for the password. I try all the usual suspects like root, password, passwd, "blank" But it says connection refused. I would also like to point out that neither eth0 nor eth1 on the Carambola light up What am i doing wrong? |
