Holy Awesome Batman! That rocks. Very nice job. What kind of range do you get with WiFi outdoors like that between two Carambolas? Do you have any real-time indicator of link quality? *Brian |

EmbeddedMan, 300m works flawlessly. I did not tested range yet, but that's not a problem. With directional antennas in open space you can reach 5km or more. I will implement live link quality (and strength) meter directly on Carambola. But this will be later. |

And the Carambola on the quadcopter still has the chip antenna. Did you test the range before putting the external antenna on the base station? |
