I have been looking to buy 20+ Carambola devices for a research project here at the University of Washington, USA. I have emailed on info@8devices email address and also tried to call the phone number listed on the website several times during business hours however have never received any response.

Are Caranbola modules still being manufactured and sold?

I received 10 Carambolas only a few days ago, so at least a week ago they still were in business.

I really want to use this module for my project, as it is just perfect for the price and features I am looking for. I am only worried that I will spend months developing code and hardware, only to find that the company has disappeared, and RaLink is a bit weird. They do large volumes and even getting access to Datasheets entail lengthy NDAs.

Good to know you got those 10 modules. Where are you based? I am trying to get a sense of ETA on shipping to USA.
