Coating on Development board?

Hi!
I just received my Caramabola Development board and there is some kind of thick plastic coating on the back of the prototype area and on J5. I did not see anything like that on the pictures. I do not really care for the prototyping area but adding a pinheader to J5 would have been nice.
Why was that changed?

This coating for technological purposes.You can easy remove this coating yourself.
