Hi everyone, good news you're working on the real SPI. For everyone is interested i've been facing one problem with the bit-banging method after many days of SD work. The CS signal becomes useless after many uses, I've changed the CS pin to other gpios and the result after a few days is the same. I don't really know if this is a problem with my SD card, It doesn't seem as i've tried the sd in many devices and it worked everywhere else. Finally I am using an inverter (MOSFET) to the CS signal to electrically isolate the GPIO pin from the card. I also had to change the source of the mmc driver to negate the signal. So far so good. |

I got SD Card to work on Carambola2 with bitbanging SPI via this tutorial: http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/mmc_over_gpio But some crazy russian got real SPI to work on Carambola2 ! Check it out: http://wiki.openwrt.org/ru/toh/tp-link/ ... p.mmc.hack |
