Hi, could someone give me a hint how to configure a second I2C port by using two GPIO pins? I mean what files to touch or some howtos related to the rt305x? Thanks Michael |

There is only one hardware-I2C on the RT3050 SoC. If you need a second one you have to do it in software. |

Hi, i know... Is the use of kmod-i2c-gpio-custom like described here: http://linux-adm5120.sourceforge.net/openwrt/i2c/ the right way to go? Michael |

I believe the carambola is already using bit bang GPIO for its existing I2C. With that being said, you should be able to use another pair of GPIO for I2C or existing pair. When loading the module, you can specify a 2nd bus with parameters bus<number>=<bus number>,<gpio1>,<gpio2> |
