Firstly, carambola2-packages and carambola2-luci: As best I can tell from the commit logs, these are just a snapshot of the openwrt packages and luci feeds from a point in time in the past. If I'm building images myself from the carambola2 openwrt fork on github, can't I just use the regular openwrt package trees?
Secondly, What exactly is the status on getting the carambola2 upstreamed? I see that it's already in trunk, and as best I can tell, the only meaningful patch outstanding is software i2c support:
https://github.com/8devices/carambola2/ ... 229b71a640 (Changing the .config file doesn't really count for anything)
Is this scheduled for upstream at all? What's the roadmap, are there any future changes expected that will only be in the carambola2 repository, or will the openwrt trunk repository be useful from now on, now that it's merged?
