Got my carambola2 up and running without problems. Before i flash another firmware i want to test if LAN in working.
I had a little linux knowledge, but it's been a while....
I can connect to the board using usb cable & hyperterminal. This works fine. However i can not sem to get the LAN working.
with IFCONFIG -a i see all adaptors. (not active)
with ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.150 i assign the ip to eth0 succesful
but then no test works: ping from the board or to board does nothing.
How to test the basic network functioning?

looking at screenshots above, i figured there was perhaps something wrong with the image.
So, with usb-thumbdrive i flashed a new image.
Without succes, since carambola2 now only boots untill U-boot.
Within Uboot i can also perform ping, also without succes! Did i receive a faulty board? Or am i missing something?

try to run script "firstboot" and rewrite full image.
