Hi, I had finally managed to configure stable SPI connection between Carambola 2 and ATXmega. What troubles me now is the maximum speed I can set on spidev device to maintain stable transmission. By trial and error I had found that setting device speed above 92kHZ makes connection unreliable. On the other hand, in range between 50kHz and 92kHz error rate is about 1% (I am sending 256 byte blocks, with CRC16 checking). Now it takes about 3.6s to send hundred of 256 byte blocks, which is about 56kbps. I was expecting better values. Does anyone have any suggestions how to make it faster ?
