Hello,
I want to design and connect external mini board (containing a LPC 1768) to carambola 2's 3.3V power rail and communicate through uart ports.
Before going on, I need to know how much current margin available on the bundle.
Thank you inadvance
Murat

The max output current of switching regulator on tha Carambola2 development board is 2A. The current consumption however depends on several things (CPU load, traffic, TX power, etc.), but the max value should be around 400mA. So you have 1.5A of remaining current, but I wouldn't go above 1A. In general the available power is enough for a microcontroller and several LEDs.
