Good morning,
i don´t get the wifi work without dev-board, only carambola2: power, usb and serial to flash
Enable wifi, add "option antenna external" and after it always reboot.
I am something missing?
External Antenna from mobile mark pcb antenna 2,4ghz

Did you follow the reference guide (development module) schematics? It would be easier to answer your question if you posted your schematics and serial output.

I think pinout should be right. I get access via terminal and flashed successfully a new image over serial.
After enable wifi and add "option antenna external" at etc/config/wireless the board always reboot. Maybe for using external antenna i missing something.
Heres the schematic:
Power: PIN 49 GND, PIN 50 3V3 input
Serial: PIN 43 UART RX, PIN 44 UART TX
USB: PIN 20 USB+, PIN 21 USB-
U.FL: external Antenna

Thanks Peter, always the same problem  didn´t thought about it. But this should be the solution. I use a cheap converter and powered the board with. I will give another try Cheers
