Hi,
1st time Carambola(2) user here as well with the exact same issue - make fails with identical error. Would appreciate a response!

Hi,
Stumbled upon the solution through a little googling. Please take a look at the link below:
It looks like this problem is brought on with later versions of gcc. I edited the files (using "find ." to locate them in the carambola2 repo) to match the referenced commit, re-compiled and the build succeeded.
