| Post subject: | USB soundcard delay problem |
Hello! I have a problem with delay/latency. I’m using the Carambola 2 and a USB soundcard. I have a program reading from /dev/dsp and then writing to /dev/dsp directly after. The problem is that the delay is high! About 0,5s or something. Also tried to read from /dev/dsp send it to a computer (with built in soundcard) over Ethernet and play, again with a high delay (like 0,5s). Is there any big delay in USB drivers for audio input? And if so can it be minimized in some way? //Tuva |
