Hi all,
I am trying to spy on my cars can bus network. I detected the correct baud rate to be 500000bps. When I initialize the device it joins the bus perfectly fine. The messages that i see on the bus are strange though - rather, one single message again and again. The car is on, so the bus should be full of messages. I triple checked the pinout at this point and it is correct. I do get a green light on the device too. Here is a screen shot of what i am seeing as to the messages. It is the exact same thing both on a linux vm and windows.
any ideas what it could be?
