Hello! I'd like to find out what are safe voltages for the GPIO inputs. In this specific case I'm interested in whether I can connect my 3V3 SPI device directly to the SPI pins and not harm the Rambutan module or do I need to use some voltage level translator IC. |

I noticed that in the Rambutan evaluation board the external SPI serial flash is powered from 3.3V. Is this an error? (and should be powered from 2.5V?) (my Rambutan development board does not have the external SPI serial flash assembled, which would be coherent with 3.3V power being an error) |

You can connect spi nor flash like here.

BTW... SPI_MOSI (aka gpio7) and SPI_CLK (aka gpio6) pins are bootstrap. gpio7: high - sdram enable, low - sdram disable gpio6 (boot select): high - from ROM, low - from SPI flash. |
