Post subject: | Lima GPIO functionality |
Hi, I am curious if the GPIOs on the Lima are already assigned to drive LEDs for things like "Wifi Link On" or "Ethernet Link On" and "Ethernet Speed 100". Since there are two Ethernet links associated with the Lima, I hoped there would be drivers for such types of indicators already defined. If not, how do I go about defining and driving the GPIOs to allow such indicators? Thanks, JB |

Hi again, I guess a related question is, if I put LEDs pulled to 3.3V through resistors on pins that are designated Bootstrap L, does that interfere with the bootstrap process? Do I need to put a buffer between the GPIO and the LED? Thanks, JB |

Thanks. However, I do not see any reference to Bootstrap H in the Lima datasheet. Is there some guidance you can provide to tell me how the Lima boots if I pull pins H or L? What are all the combinations of bootstrap settings? Also, my first question in this thread remains. Are there any predefined functions assigned for the GPIO pins (Ethernet Connected, Ethernet Speed, Wifi Connected, etc)? JB |
