Anyone got any tips for how I can connect an external antenna to the Centipede?
I can see there's a tiny little coax connector on there - much smaller than u.fl even. And some 0402 components next to it that I presume would need to be swapped over.
Ideal for me would be just to snip the end off a u.fl cable and solder directly onto the Centipede.......

Thanks for the quick reply.
If I were to replace that connector do I not need to move any of the 0402 components nearby to actually connect it to the RF signal? I would have expected the RF to be routed only to the onboard ceramic antenna? Surely I can't just add a connector and then stick an external 50 ohm antenna on there as it would be in parallel with the onboard antenna and horribly mismatched?

You need to replace UF.L connector only.
