We are glad to announce that all listed* radio modules now meet the cybersecurity requirements defined in RED 2014/53/EU Article 3.3.
Self-Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) documents for each module are now available on their product Wiki pages and on the corresponding product pages on the 8devices website.
Because RED 3.3 compliance for radio modules depends on correct implementation of specific mandatory software patches, customers must integrate the required modifications into their firmware before placing products on the market. These changes are provided for OpenWrt but must be correctly ported to any alternative software platform used.
