We are excited to announce the opening of the early access program for 8Sight T100, our new UAS-optimized edge AI thermal video camera. Following live demonstrations and feedback from testers, we are now prepared to ship initial engineering samples by EOY and start planning our production stages.
The 8Sight T100 combines a Lynred ATI320 sensor with an Arm Cortex-M55-based platform to deliver 320 × 240 px LWIR video at 60 fps. Its < 50 mK NETD sensitivity supports detailed thermal imaging in applications such as aerial observation, infrastructure inspection, equipment monitoring, security, and research.
A dedicated neural processing unit and hardware image signal processor provide computational support for your real-time image processing and application-specific edge AI solution. These components can be leveraged to help develop object detection and classification, anomaly detection, AI-assisted upscaling, and temperature-triggered event detection without relying on cloud processing.
The camera’s 28.5 × 30.5 × 29.5 mm housing, 38 g weight, and mounting holes on four sides simplify integration into UAS and other mobile or space-restricted platforms. USB 2.0 High-Speed and 100 Mb/s Ethernet interfaces make this camera easy to integrate, while its basic preinstalled firmware delivers plug-and-play performance.
